- [Instructor] There's not much we're gonna have to do to our model in 3ds Max, it's primarily a translation tool for us. Let's go to File, Import, Link Revit, and we'll navigate to the file we've been working in. So the first thing we need to do is choose one of those views that we prepared. Go to 3D for Export Static Building, and now we have options for how that geometry is gonna be imported. For the static building I like combine by Revit family type. This means that every instance of a certain wall type, or every instance of a certain kind of floor are combined into one object. This means that we have far fewer elements that we have to deal with and scroll through when we're in Unity. It also improves the performance of Unity because Unity has fewer items it needs to think about and process. Let's go ahead and attach this file. You can go ahead and say yes to the daylight system.
