Moving towards the digital twin
- [Instructor] In the prerequisite course, we covered how to get going in AR. In this course, we want to tackle some of the challenges, in making this technology useful in the real world. You may already have some use cases in mind. We are aiming for a concept called the digital twin. This is where physical objects, or digital objects in place, have a sense of permanence. This applies to their data as well. I want to cover four major aspects in this course. Attaching data to our in-world objects. Displaying data in-world on our in-world objects. Manipulating our in-world objects, and saving those changes to our in-world objects. These four goals, once achieved, will help us make AR more practical, to solve real world problems.
