- [Instructor] The last thing you might wanna do is to fix the UV mapping. UVs tell the engine how a texture image is stretched across the surface of a volume. And depending on the details of your export, sometimes the UVs can be lost or broken. So if you ever need to fix UV mapping, you select an object, go to this modify tab, and add to the modifier list. And start typing UV, and you'll find UVW map. For most architectural applications, box mapping will do just fine. Sometimes to be safe, I like to go through and select every object that has geometry associated with it. You can tell them by the circles next to their names. And apply new UV mapping to the whole group. It can be better to apply it as a cube. Now at this point our geometry is ready to go into Unity. So if we're confident that we're gonna have 3DS max with us throughout the entire development process, we can just save this file.
