Building a scene
- In the previous movie, we created our project, our scene and now we have the first person controller position dead at the center of that scene, and it looks good. But of course we need to build the environment now, an environment that is going to accommodate first person exploration. So to do that, we're going to be using ProBuilder. So I'm going to access ProBuilder by choosing tools, ProBuilder, and ProBuilder window. This displays by default in it's free floating form, I don't like that so I'm going to drag and drop the ProBuilder tab next to the inspector to get a good view of the tools available. The next thing that I want to do is to make sure that I'm going to access in the object mode here to generate my first ProBuilder object. I'm going to move to the new shape button and left click that with my mouse to generate a new shape. Now, by default it creates a cube. This is actually going to be our very first room.…
