Understanding particle systems

- [Instructor] In the previous movie, we explored Unity's particle system VFX graph, which is available in both the HD render pipeline and the universal render pipeline under some conditions. But if you're using the standard Unity pipeline or a 2D workflow, or some additional and alternative pipeline that isn't part of the main pipeline system, then you'll need to use Unity's standard particle system known as Shuriken. It's a pretty functional system with a lot of different features. To start exploring that and to demonstrate a lot of particle systems that you already have available to you, I've downloaded the Unity Particles Package which is available completely free from the Unity Asset Store. It's also included inside the course exercise files.
