Using Unity for architectural visualizations
- [Instructor] Hi there, and welcome to Creating Architectural Visualizations Using the Unity Engine, presented by LinkedIn Learning. In this comprehensive course, we'll see the complete workflow for importing an architectural model into the Unity engine and then adding lights and materials and cameras to create a finalized architectural visualization. Along the way, we'll see a wide range of important Unity features that are useful for many applications. We'll see how to create materials like emissive and glass materials to add interesting effects to our objects and to create believable worlds. We'll see how to set up cameras and carefully animated cinematics, how to add lights and create realistic environmental lighting, and also how to add post-process effects to our cameras for highlights, blurs, vignettes, and other flourishes that help our work stand out. Plus, this whole project will be a lot of fun. My name is Alan Thorn, and I've been working as a creative, an author, and all-around tech person for over 25 years, and in this course, I want to show you the workflow for making architectural visualizations that stand out, whatever your skill level. By the end of this course, you'll end up with a complete, explorable architectural visualization. So with that said, let's jump in and get started.
