- [Instructor] When you're using the shell it's helpful to know where you can look for more information. The man pages or manual pages are the user manual and help reference for software installed on the system. Including the Z shell software. Because Z shell has a lot of documentation, it's man pages are split up between various sections. We can see those sections with man zsh. This is a list of the sections. And for example, if we wanted to get more detail about the options that I mentioned earlier we could run man zshoptions and take a look at the name and description of each of them. And man zsh built ins contains information about the built ins that are available in Z shell. I can move around here in the man pages by pressing the up and down arrows or by hitting space bar to move down a page at a time. And I can use f and b to move forward and backward by one screen at a time. On systems with mouse support…
