- [Instructor] Although, not as generally useful as the exposure tools that we have looked at, we will be able to add a new level of subtle realism to our own Unreal camera by making good use of the controls found in the Chromatic Aberration and Dirt Mask rollout of our post-process area. The tools here, if used cleverly and subtly, can take what looks like a fairly average camera shot and turn it into something that looks much more cinematically pleasing. So, first of all, we have Chromatic Aberration Intensity. Now chromatic aberration, according to one dictionary, is the effect produced by the refraction of different wavelengths of light through slightly different angles, resulting in a failure to focus the light. In other words, we start to see the red, green, and blue channels of light separate from each other. As we increase this particular value here in Unreal we can see that very split start to happen.
