- [Instructor] Now we're going to take a look at how to animate the stem in Cinema 4D by making a joint chain and binding the geometry to those joints. So we've got our stem and our flower geometry in this scene. We're going to take the flower geometry, select it, and turn it off in the editor. Okay. So now we'll look at the front view. Press H to hone the view, and we want to draw some joints up the Y axis in our view here. So let's make sure our snapping is set to grid because we want to draw a joint every one unit in the grid access we see here. So grid point snap is on. Most these other guys are turned off; that's good. Now I'm going to go to character, joint tool. Okay, and you can see the snapping that's coming out, little icon comes up there. Now I'm going to hit the control key, and we're going to go to the absolute bottom origin of our stem. You can see it lines up right on the grid. With the control key clicked down, I'm going to left mouse click and start drawing joints. Up…
