Checking out the 3ds Max scene that we will be using
- Before we get into what I will call the meat of this course, one thing that it would probably be good for us to do is take a quick overview of the 3ds Max and V-Ray Next Scene that we will ultimately be taking into and working with in the Unreal Engine, which essentially is a pretty straightforward single room interior environment that has had a few unique living areas built into it. For instance, if I pull up the V-Ray Frame Buffer here and double-click to load some of the History Renders that we have, you can see that we have a kitchen and dining area, we have a bit of a lounge come TV watching area, we have an upstairs mezzanine bedroom, and we have an exterior patio area that hasn't actually been built to be accessible in this particular version of the model and so won't really feature once we get into Unreal. As far as lighting in the scene goes, we're using a V-Ray Sun and Sky setup that will also of course…
