Export FBX from Maya
- [Instructor] Now we've created our Blend Shape of our flower in Maya, and we're going to export it as an FBX file with that Blend Shape embedded so we can properly bring that into Unreal Engine. I'm going to scrub my timeline here. We can see that we have our blend working. In my outliner, I'm going to select my flower closed and open. Go File, Game Exporter. Okay, so under the Model tab here, we want to Export Selection, make sure Smoothing Groups are on, Tangents and Bi-Normals are on, and the Blend Shapes are on. Everything else can be off in here. Now let's go over to the Animation Clips tab, and we want to make sure Export Selection is selected. And we're going to hit this little plus sign here to make an animation clip to embed into the file. We'll call this clip 1. We'll set the Bake Animation to on. We will make sure that Save Clips to Single File is on and not Multiple Files. Up Axis is going to be Y, and we want to hit Embed Media. Make sure that's on. Now, for the path in…
