Import FBX into UE4
- [Instructor] All right, so now we're in our Chapter 02-03 Start Unreal Editor Project. And we're going to open up our map. Let's go to our content browser, 02 map folder, 02-03 start, okay. So now we have our base map here we're going to be working in. And now let's go back to our content folder. Let's go to our geometry folder and click import. And what we're going to do is we're going to go to Exercise Files, Chapter Two, Maya, FBX and bring in this Stem Rig 01 file. Alright, so I'm going to hit open and our FBX import options window comes open that has a lot of options. Here's what we're mainly concerned about, we want skeletal mesh and import mesh to be on. Going to open this up so we can see some of the other texts here a little clearer. Import smoothing groups on, import meshes in bone hierarchy and import morph targets can be on. There aren't any morph targets in this but we're going to actually add some in with the flower later and we'll have the normal import method be…
