- [Instructor] Now that we've added interactivity to lights and static meshes in our scene, let's talk about how blueprints can effect materials at runtime. I have a couch here that I have set up that has what's known as a dynamic material instance. In a moment, I'll show you how to set that up. But, for now, let's just look at some of the features that it gives us. So I have the same thing that I did with the door. I have a collider that pops up text every time I get within that range to let me know that now I have interactivity enabled. So when I click or hit certain keyboard commands, or even motion controller buttons, I can alter the material of this at runtime. Now the only way to do this is through a dynamic material instance. And let me show you how to make one. So, much like the sconce, I started with a generic blueprint. And then I started to fill it with static mesh components. Let's head to the Viewport.
