Introduction to blend shapes in CINEMA 4D (C4D)

- [Man] We're going to take a look at how to build a basic blend shape set-up in CINEMA 4D. And a blend shape is just a way to blend between the point positions of one object to another. So you can see we have these two simple cube objects, one on the left and one on the right. The one on the right has been modeled a little bit differently, some faces have been pulled out, but the point count, the point order, and the topology is all the same. So the first thing we're going to do is we're going to center these objects out. So I'm going to select CUBE_1, under its coordinates, I'm going to zero it out. I'm going to select CUBE_2, I'm going to go under its coordinates and I'm going to zero it out. Okay. So now, we're going to select CUBE_1 and under the character menu, we're going to say Add Point Morph and that's going to give us a little Pose Morph tag here and it's going to give us some options down in our little options area.
