- [Instructor] Whenever you're working with static lighting, which should be most of the time, you'll undoubtedly come across this little error message. Lighting needs to be rebuilt with some number of unbuild objects. What this means is any time an object is moved Unreal needs to recalculate how the light hits it so that it can properly bake the shadows into the lightmap. So whenever you see this, it just means you need to go up to Build here, drop down Build Lighting only, and go ahead and just give that a click. Great. Now that that lightmap is built, notice I've got this error message here. A lot of times if this is your first build after importing a project in Datasmith, you're likely to get a number of these errors. Essentially what that means is this particular object, which you can click on to navigate to in the content browser, has overlapping UV maps.
