- [Instructor] In this segment, we're going to be talking a little bit about Unreal Studio issues and their workarounds. When bringing a Revit file into Unreal, Datasmith does a lot for you behind-the-scenes, one of the biggest helpers being auto-generated Lightmaps. Since it creates these Lightmaps from any existing UV's attached to the mesh, it can sometimes lead to errors like wrapping or overlapping UV's, these will show up once you build lighting. The most common one is overlapping UV's, usually this isn't much of a problem with simple assets like these, but I was having issues with the floor, I'll show you what I mean. Helpers is auto-generating Lightmaps, although there are a few issues that require a little bit of a manual touch that I'll cover here and the first one is what's called UVW remapping. So if you ever load in a project like this and build your lighting, you'll sometimes run into errors that say Lightmaps overlapping or wrapping UV's and whenever you get that error,…
