- The modes panel on the left here, contain a series of creative tool tabs that you'll use to structure your work and fill out your projects. The first tab here is the place tab. The place tab contains every placeable actor that you could want in your scene. It's broken down into different categories as shown here. In basic, you can find the fundamental actors used in most projects such as player start. See how I just dragged and dropped that into the scene. That's the essence of the place mode. Next is the lights. Here you can find different light actors to illuminate your projects. There's cinematics which are cameras and rails, visual effects such as atmospheric fog or reflections. Even geometry brushes like the cylinder or box. And finally, volumes. These are different things that your characters can interact with. And as you can see in all classes, there's really a vast variety of actors that you can drag…
