Placing lights in the scene

- [Instructor] We can't lean on Unlit mode forever, so it's time to place lights into our scene. Go ahead and turn on Lit mode so we can see what we're working with. Now when placing lights in the scene, you can always just use the Place mode and drag and drop a light into the world. But there are a few things you should know about light placement. First, if you're just using point lights, you can simply hold L and click into the Viewport. It'll spawn a light a short distance from whatever surface you clicked on. You can also right click and select Place Actor to see a lineup of all the light types. Let's drop in a spot light. When placing lights, it's a good idea to keep in mind the type of light you're placing. Directional lights, for example. These work no matter where they're located or what scale they may be.
