- [Instructor] One of the daunting aspects of UE4 is the sheer number of different tools and editors within the editor. But this is also a strength of the engine; it is expandable and modular. And this module is about the static mesh editor. Pick any object in the scene, anything you can see. Let's take this desk for example. Now that you're staring to dig into these course files you should feel empowered to look under the hood. In the details panel of any object in the scene there's a slot for the static mesh. This time we're going to double-click on it and expose the next layer of tools, then look at it. It's like a mini Unreal editor, but just for this one mesh. Up in the toolbar we have controls for wire frame, vertex colors, bounds and collision. Now, collision is something we would like to change and just look at it.
