Post process effects

- [Instructor] Post processing in Unreal Engine 4 is really just a collection of various screen space effects overlaid on top of your scene. These include things like ambient occlusion, tone mapping, anti-aliasing and bloom. Post processing is a critical part of the real time rendering pipeline, and it can have a huge effect on the visual quality of your scene. For starters, anti-aliasing is a post process effect that dramatically reduces pixelation of your view. For those of you not familiar, aliasing is the term used to describe the jagged edge that results from trying to render angles on a pixel grid. You can see evidence of it here and here. Now let me use the viewport controls to toggle on anti-aliasing. Notice the difference? Anti-aliasing is just one of the ways that post processing can improve your scene.
