Preparing and exporting your geometry as an FBX file in C4D R17: Update

- [Instructor] Now we're in Maya LT 2018, which we're going to use as a converter to convert from the FBX we got out of Cinema 4D into an FBX that Unreal is going to like more. So what we're going to do here is under the file menu I'm going to go import, and we're going to navigate to the file that we exported out of Cinema 4D. So the Scene 01. And even if you've never used Maya before, we're just going to be doing some very basic things in here, and it's good to wrap your head around just knowing how to do this conversion in here, because Maya creates FBXes that Unreal really likes. I'm just going to delete out this camera that got imported from Cinema 4D. I'm going to select the panels lower. I'm just going to hit play, and there you go. We can see that we've got our exact same animation. Everything came over right into Maya even though it did not come over right into Unreal. If I were to open this up, the same thing, exactly like we had in our little outliner in Cinema 4D. We're…
