Preparing and exporting your geometry as an FBX file in Maya 2016: Update

- [Male] When we originally recorded this course, we were using Cinema 4D R17 and we had a third-party FBX export plugin available that allowed us to have more control over FBX export options. Now, we're a couple years later, we're in Cinema 4D R19, and that third party plugin is no longer available. So what we're doing is we're recording an update course to show you a new way that we can get this geometry that's animated properly out of Cinema 4D into Unreal. And for this, we're going to use Maya LT, which is a very low cost, fantastic tool, to be able to move geometry through there, which has excellent FBX export options to prep for game and visualization engines. So what we're going to do is I'm going to delete everything out of this scene except these panels lower, make the HQ zoom in and we'll play this back. And you can see we just have this very simple animation of these panels moving, that's part of this whole mechanical shot that we've built. I'll rewind this back and we'll…
