World Settings panel - Unreal Engine Tutorial
From the course: Unreal Essential Training (2019)
World Settings panel
- [Instructor] Each and every level can be controlled individually from the world settings panel. You can access the world settings either from the window menu or from the settings option in the toolbar. Mine is docked next to my details panel, but feel free to place yours wherever you wish. This is where you can do things like override the project-wide game mode on just this level. This can be useful if you have different rules or experience types on different maps. You can also find the Lightmass settings here. These settings give you fine-grained control over the quality and performance of the lighting solution for this level. We'll revisit this in greater detail when we come to the lighting section of the course. The world settings panel contains a lot more parameters than we'll be able to cover in this course, but it's important to know about it and where to look to find many of these settings.
