- [Instructor] Amongst the new tools added to V-Ray in the 3.1 and 3.2 updates, were some nice extras for those of us who find themselves working on various types of VR projects. Be that using single cameras for on-screen viewing, or a stereo camera rig for use with a dedicated VR headset. What were those additions? Well if I just hit the F10 key to open up the Render Set Up dialogue, and then in the V-Ray tab open up the Camera roll out, we can see in the Type drop down that one was a cube six by one camera. Now to do the job properly, once this has been chosen that is, and in order to be able to get usable cube maps from the system, we do need to do a bit extra in the Render Set Up dialogue. And so let's jump into the Common tab and work with our output size controls. Where probably the first thing that we will need to know is the file resolution at which our cube map needs to be created. Let's say for arguments sake, then, that in this instance we have been asked to set the height…
