- [Instructor] In order for us all to be on the same page, as it were, in terms of the software that we're using, I just wanted to show you that everything presented in this particular update chapter has been recorded using V-Ray version 3.30.05 inside 3DS Max 2016, which was, in fact, the latest version of Max that this particular build of V-Ray was available for. If you were using later versions of Max and/or V-Ray, then everything contained here should still be applicable, although UI layout and names may possibly be a little different in some cases.
