Volume grid

- [Instructor] One thing that has always impressed Chaos Group customers in connection with V-Ray has been the sheer number and quality of tools that are continually being added to free point updates such as the ones that we are looking at here. And remember, what we have looked at in this particular update chapter only covers the V-Ray 3.12, 3.3 releases with 3.4 to 3.6 being covered in a later update chapter. Despite being well-acquainted with this aspect of Chaos Group customer service though, the addition of the volume grid to V-Ray that we will look briefly at in this video is still quite staggering as it is a piece of kit that could prove to be hugely valuable to artists or studios that use 3ds Max and V-Ray to produce final renders of volume-based simulations, be that in the form of fire and smoke or liquids. Now because this is a huge tool, we will only be able to cover the bare bones of getting it working in Max in this video but that should be enough to get us up and running…
