we're going to look at adding a depth of field effect to rendered footage from a 3D program. Now, as we saw in the cinematography course, the depth of field is the area of the frame that's in focus. When our depth of field is shallow, meaning objects in front of and behind the subject are out of focus, it makes a huge difference in the beauty of an image. and this is the one that we're going to be using, but you don't have what I'm about to do. So, don't follow along with this. I'm going to go in my project panel and get these files from my computer. This is a Photoshop sequence of this pass from Cinema 4D that was rendered out with a depth of field. I'm just going to go ahead and bring that in. And so we have this kind of shallow depth of field on our footage, and it looks more realistic and believable with this blur here. But here's the problem.
