- Now that the main foundation of the video is done, we're ready to add some important extras. So let's talk about those. First, let's figure out our music. We've already chosen several stock music possibilities. Now it's time to decide what works the best. Music will help define the video's emotional context and tone, and it will also become part of Banks' branding. So we need to get it right. Certainly deciding on a piece of music is largely relying on instinct to feel if it's the right track or not. And once you get the feeling that something might work, you need to listen to it through the entire video. Because again, the emotional arc of stock music might not match the emotional arc of your video. And when things don't work, you need to decide if you need to ditch the track and try something else, or if you're able to perform some basic editing to make things better aligned. So it can definitely take some work to decide what the perfect music is. And eventually, Banks chose hers.…
