- Make sure you research the location a little bit before you go to physically see it. There's a lot of questions that you can answer yourself virtually before you get there. Where will you park your vehicles? If you look here, this restaurant that I've shot in before has no parking, so I had to figure out where all my crew and talent were going to park their cars. Check and see if you need a shooting permit because you could already start filling out and figuring out how you file that before you go. Also, online you can look for any additional permissions. You might need to get more than one permission. Maybe it's owned by two people and you're going to have to get two different permits.
