Attaching a lens to the Pocket and Micro cameras
- If you've ever worked with a DSLR or better yet a micro four thirds camera, you're going to find that attaching a lens is pretty easy. But I still want to walk you through the steps because if you do it wrong, you could damage either your camera, the lens, or both. So it's important that you don't rush this and you make sure it's a good solid connection to avoid any potential damage. Now, when you're taking a look at these cameras, it's pretty straightforward. You'll notice that on the front of the camera there's going to be a body cap of some sort and what we want to do is remove this body cap, making sure that we minimize any dirt or debris getting in. Now, with a simple twist, this is going to be removable and you can gently lift that off and set this to the side. You'll notice a series of screws here that keep this mounting plate attached to the camera. Also, very importantly, we have a red dot that's going to help us align.
