Backing up SD card

- Congratulations, your interview has just wrapped. What do you do now that you're back at the office or at home? Have a cup of coffee, give your loved ones a hug? No, you back up your cards. You back up your media. This is the most important thing. If they're not backed up, they never existed. You don't want to go to your next shoot, pull a card out of your bag, throw it in your camera, only to realize you just lost the previous day's interview. It's horrible and it's happened to all of us. So when I get back to the office, I always ensure I back up the card twice, to one internal and one external hard drive. That way, if one hard drive goes down, I have the other as another backup. When you're backing up the card, drag the entire card's contents to that new folder on that new hard drive, mirroring the card exactly. There's a lot of other data written to other folders on these cards nowadays. You want to make sure all that's there on the backup. Last, double check all the file sizes…
