- As we talk about these many different steps, you may start to feel a bit overwhelmed. How could I possibly do all of these things? I don't have time to spend all of this management time. I need to get things done. As creative people, we often mistake the pushing of buttons, or the capturing of images as being billable work, and that's the only billable work. We only get paid for our creativity. The reality is though, you get paid for results, and if you're doing work for hire or working in things like corporate video, or producing images for hire, well you get paid for the results, and most of the people you're working with have businesses, or reasonable business expectations. I can tell you that most of the clients that we maintain work with us not because we're creative, that's a given.
