Now it's time to get technical again and cover the basics of lighting and sound. There are several options when it comes to lighting. So let's go over them so you can decide which one works best for your stream. If you're streaming from a room where your light source comes from a window, this is what's called natural light. So as you stream, make sure to face the window as this ensures the light falls on your face. Never sit with your back to a window during an online video conversation unless you also have light on the front of your face to balance it out. Backlit shots are not good for streaming as they make the subject, in this case, you, appear darker.
