- The interviews are a major part of our video and that's what we're gonna focus on now. Let's talk about what we want to achieve with them. So, the interviews are all about the men's lives and focus on their experience within the Cred Program. In contrast with the performed memoir, these will be more traditional in their look and feel. We should feel like the men are talking frankly to the audience, so we need to do what we can to create a sense of warmth, trust, and relatability in the way that we shoot these. So, let's talk about the logistics of conducting our interviews. First, before inviting the interview subject into the recording space, you need to set up the camera and tripod at the appropriate distance from the interview location. This is when you make any adjustments in terms of camera placement and height. Once the general framing of the shot looks good then you can invite the subject in.
