Cable needs

- When you're on set, it's a good idea to bring your own cables, so you can plug in and partner with others. This way you are not dependent on other members of the crew to be connected to any of the necessary stations. A common connection type that's used a lot these days is HDMI. HDMI is going to make it very easy for you to monitor on set. Most laptops and mobile workstations either come with a built-in HDMI port, or come with an adaptor, that goes from things like USBC or mini display port, to HDMI. This will make it fairly easy to connect an HDMI cable. This is a really short one, so chances are you're going to want a longer cable, or maybe some connectors so you can daisy chain. This will make it simple to then plug in. Speaking of plugging in, there are often adaptors that you're going to need. Make sure you bring common connection types on set.
