- So far in this course, we've talked about lots of strategies for shooting interviews, B-rolls, and observational scenes. Now I'd like to take you through some behind-the-scenes details of the Project Relo shoot, introducing to you our crew, our equipment, and our methods. First, let me introduce you to my crew. There are four of us. I'm the director, Ryan is the camera operator, and Brett and Ben are secondary camera crew that assisted with lighting, sound, and other logistics. Brett and Ben also helped me film behind-the-scenes footage for this series of courses. For the documentary shoot, we had three official cameras plus one extra on-the-fly camera. Our primary cameras were two Canon C300s, which are a pair of very nice, full HD digital cinema cameras, built for professional mobile filmmaking.
