Casting
- When your project requires a cast, there are multiple ways to go about hiring the right people. It's also important to understand some basic dos and don'ts when it comes to casting. Hiring a casting director will make your life much easier, because they will go get the cast for you. Simply tell them the type of people you're looking for, and they take care of the casting calls, casting reviews, and pre-selecting the best talent for your review. But, they do come at a price. Often a pretty steep price. Now working through a talent agency is a great middle ground between a casting director and doing the casting all by yourself. They do add some additional costs, but they have pre-screened their talent roster. So when you tell the agency the type of people that you're looking for, and what they need to do, they will send you selections that most closely meet your criteria This can greatly reduce the time you spend trying to cast your project.
