- I realize that many of you may not have a design background. Coming up with a color palette can be quite tricky. Now, if you're formally trained as a graphic designer, it's probably a piece of cake. But if you grew up wearing Garanimals or having a parent help you pick out your clothes, well, you might have a hard time getting the perfect match. Jokes aside, there's a lot to color and theory, and the mood that it creates. But, fortunately, there's a free tool to help you out. Adobe offers a website called Color CC. It's just color.adobe.com and it's totally free to use. They also have a free App, and it allows you to pick an initial color and then find additional color themes. They apply rules, and I'll show you this in just a second. The site also has a lot of themes designed by members of the design community, and you can search these, see the comments, the ratings, and come up with fresh ideas. Plus, you can upload an image and this allows you to sample colors out of the image…
