Cleaning up the macOS menu bar for screencasts
- The top menu bar quickly becomes a cluttered mess. That's because there's all sorts of great utilities and extensions that you could turn on that enhance how things work. But the problem is, is that it eventually fills things up and you'll see pop-up notifications and all sorts of distracting icons. Now, depending upon your operating system, some of these cannot be hidden, starting with big Sur on the Mac. There are certain things that are pretty much always visible. You'll notice across the top a lot of these different tools. Sometimes you can click on them and you might be able to quit or turn things off. Going to the preferences for something, for example, you may notice that there is an option whether or not you see it in the menu bar.
