- Google's toolbox of online apps and software as a service has quickly expanded into many businesses. It's also a tool that many people are familiar with because of it's broad use in educational institutions. You could find that using Google Docs and Sheets is a great way for communicating things like scripts and budgets. You can also easily track comments as you're working on things. I find that this is excellent for things like notes or scripts that people need to review or comment on. You can even make assignments when working by simply using the at or plus sign and typing the person's email or Google ID. It'll create a to-do right within the document that they need to respond to. What's nice here is that it also works with tools from Microsoft so you can easily upload or download Microsoft compatible files if that's what your organization or client prefers.
