- Well you may find yourself in a dark corner on the set or far off in the distance, keep in mind that people will likely want to collaborate with you. You need to be able to get memory cards as they come in. A useful thing is going to be to have some sort of bin or management system on set so you can track the cards as they come inbound. I recommend a two or three bin system. Ideally a drawer where new cards can come in, another one where they can go when they've been copied once and then a third drawer when those cards are ready to be recycled after two successful complete backups. Now I do suggest that you don't actually wipe those cards if you can avoid it but a three drawer system will help you track your data. If that's not possible, you can consider marking out on your desk some areas for that. Just simply use painter's tape or gaffer's tape and draw a three box area on the table. Label it so people know where to put cards as inbox, being copied or in copy, and outbox. This way…
