- Creative types don't like to talk budget. They want to express themselves, let the money take care of itself. But any video project must take into account accounting especially when it involves human because comedy is not only hard, it can be expensive. Of course there are certain expenses that just can't be avoided. To afford these, you may have to cut costs elsewhere. Hey, what's going on? - [Woman] Our lighting, we didn't pay our lighting bill. - Well, what the heck are we wasting all our money on? Budgeting comedy is a question of where to put the money for the most funny. Some types of humor are literally cheaper. Others are more costly but may be worth it. We had to make those kinds of decisions for this course all the time, and I'm pretty bitter about it.
