- Now, we've talked a little bit about communication, efficiency and so you're probably getting the sense that watching the clock and keeping things moving is an important part of production. Might not be the most fun part, but it is important and the key with watching the clock is trying to be fluid enough in your planning and the way you're executing that plan, that you never really spend that much time in crisis mode, that when things come up, you deal with them quickly and you're able to sort of get right back to the business at hand. So let's talk about dealing with your schedule on the clock a little bit more and let's start by talking about some really common sources of delays.
