This is such an easy fix and something that so many people don't put enough effort into. There are a few aspects to this I want to cover. Make sure that the webcam is at eye-level, rather than angled up or down. Look at how a neutral eye-level frame looks compared to something like this. In the world of film, directors angle the camera like this to create psychological connotations about the character. So besides just looking odd or showing unwanted views up your nose, angles like this can actually produce undesirable emotional associations, even if subconsciously.
