- [Narrator] In the next couple of tutorials we going to dig a little bit more into this colossal big shot. This was probably the biggest effect shot in terms of stuff going on in the whole film. When I was in post production I referred to the visual effects shot at the end of the film in terms of which number they came in. Like what order they came in, so this is shot 13. It's what I call it is shot 13. In this specific tutorial I'd like to start out that conversation by looking at smoke and fog. And I don't want to sound like a broken record, but I love smoke and fog. It looks really great. But in addition to that it's also a great tool for compositing as we'll see. It adds a lot of depth and it can add some motion and life to shots that otherwise feel kind of stagnant. So I have some fog here. Just kind of coming up from the bottom. Turn that off.
