Controlling display options

- You've seen me adjust some of the display options, but let's go through all of the choices you have. Now, the exact choices may vary slightly from camera to camera, but they're pretty similar across the Blackmagic product lineup. First up, if you don't see the menus, remember, a simple press will bring it up. What we're concerned about here is the monitoring tab. This is going to really control what you're viewing. In any situation, there's two sets of monitoring. The LCD is what you see on the back panel. So if you're out and about shooting in the field and just by yourself, maybe all you have is the LCD or the viewfinder, the viewfinder that attaches to the professional camera as well. Same idea. The HDMI is really when you decide to use an external cable like we have here to run it out to an external monitor, which is very useful when there's clients on set.
