In this example we've got the character swinging his arms backwards and forwards, and we'll have a look at how that was done a little bit later, but for now, we're going to have a look at how we can change the render order if we like, of the hands, so that the hands can made to go in front of, or behind the character. Now remember this is just one single layer, but we can still change the render order of the pixels to make this hand go either behind the character, or in front. We do that by using the overlap tool, and choose the puppet overlap pin tool, you'll see that it highlights my character on the screen for me. Now at the moment, I'm using quite a dull color to label but, if I change that to a nice bright color maybe a green for example, you see that stands out a little bit better, so choosing a different label color can really help make the puppet outline stand out.
