Creating a floor plan

- One of the things that's really useful is a floor plan. This could both serve as a planning document to help you really put the shoot together, but it also often becomes a part of the finished tour, allowing people to see a map view and potentially navigate the different nodes, or images, within a virtual tour. - [Man In Gray Shirt] So when I create a floor plan often I ask myself, is there already a floor plan, such as a fire escape or blueprints? That's a good reference I could use to actually map out where my nodes are going to go. - [Man In Blue Shirt] Yeah, using something that's been professionally created and accurate gives you something that's a great place to start with even if you later redraw that document or simplify it. Even a simple sketch with pen and paper that maps out the general layout will help you for planning purposes.
