Creating glowing embers
in the last tutorial where we looked at making the embers of this campfire in Photoshop. We had this kind of like, rough noise just using Photoshop noise, kind of like a place holder. I realized it wast quite there. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to use my mouse wheel to zoom in here and we're a little bit, we're a hundred percent here, that'll speed things up a little bit here. And also of the particular smoke, basically all these layers can be turned off. And I really just want to look at this campfire here. Now it's a little bit strong, the fire's a little bit powerful, little bit too glowy and doesn't look right. But this really calls attention to a really important concept that really it's about the composite as a whole, the amalgam of all the layers put together. And when you're in 32 bits per channel, a lot of really cool things happen with the light. And so when you have the particular smoke, and it's kind of like over the top of this, then it actually looks pretty…
