- One of the primary reasons you're likely watching this course, is you want to get graphics that are the correct size to use in a video project. Well, let's tackle that head-on. There's really two ways to go about it. One way is through Photoshop. When you're in Photoshop and you choose to create a new document, you're presented with a very useful dialogue that gives you choices. Notice across the top, you'll see recently used formats, but there is a category called Film and Video. Here, there are things like templates built in that you can explore to create different types of graphics. But up top here, are the ability to see all the presets. Here, there are useful presets that match a variety of needs. For example, you'll notice a row of HD ones, traditional HDTV, and some of the HDV ones that use non square pixels, like we mentioned earlier.
